So I was just in a car crash / fender bender. I won't say who was the driver, but i can reassure you that she / he is a really good driver, and people in front of us stopped really quickly too. i had to yell out her / his name to make him / her realize it was time to slam on the brakes. I'm still pretty shaken up n a bit light headed...but everyone is safe / ok. there were only two other people in the backseat. i was in the passengers seat. But yeah. Honestly, I think it was a miracle in disguise, because there was another car crash not too far up ahead, and we didn't get caught in the middle of it. Thankfully, things were taken cared of, and Heavenly Father really looked after us! My heart is racing like crazy. haha! Her / his truck was pretty big, so it didn't do too much to it except knock off the front bumper a bit. it chipped off the back right light of the van in front of us, and did a little scratched up to their bumper. the car that ran into us got a small hole because of the trailer hitch on the back of our truck, and the car behind theirs, was a hit and run...unfortunetly, no one got the lisence plate number....and then there was one more car in back of us who barely had any damage at all. maybe a SMALL dent.
We all got out, called the police for a crash report...gave our witness reports to the police...talked to our friends, talked more to the officers, called our parents, reassured them everything was alright...and the driver's parent came to help out. one of the rider's parents came and brought us all home except for the driver. I'm SO glad everything worked out ok. I'm just glad i was able to get the driver's attention before it was too late. because, if she / he hadn't slammed on the brake, idk what would have happened.
But, I can now take "getting in a car crash, but not get hurt" off my bucket list. yeah yeah yeah, ik...crazy thing...but, yep. lol!
so, that was my car crash / fender bender.
Alright....when I went to go get my grandpa for open house, I was at the stop light by publix, and you know how after a crash, you're very cautious, nervous, looking everywhere etc...well, that's how I was. I was pretty nervous...and anways, I was at the stoplight, and this guy came across the intersection, and when he was across, and starting to gun the gas a little more, this window / mirror thing fell off the back of his truck, landed on the road and crashed REALLY loud, glass flying everywhere! It scared me SOOO much! Then, people slammed on their brakes, honking their hornes almost running into each other, trying not to hit anyone, or pop their tires from driving on the glass. It scared me sooooooooo much! I had already been shakin up from today's incident right after school, and this crash of glass just shook me up even more to where I couldn't hold it any longer, and tears just started coming out. I got to my grandpa's house shaking, and bawling. Poor grandpa...I prob gave him a heart attack with me crying my eyes out saying how scared I was. lol! But yeah, I had him drive back....I was too shaken up. I could barely breathe, my heart was racing, I was shaking, light headed....today wasn't exactly the best day. But, like I said, it was a blessing in disguise, cause the crash head, was in the intersection, and a car slid right under a truck or something like that...I'm not too sure...someone explained it to me. I didn't see it because I had that fender bender by the school. I'm just glad we're all safe. I just can't believe that the glass had to do that to me today...OF ALL DAYS! haha....but yeah...that was the big car crash / fender bender.
if you have any questions, feel free to ask...but to be clear, i'm not saying who was the driver. So don't ask.
